Overview of Services

The Clinical Pharmacology Analytical Laboratory (CPAL) is translational research labroatory and provides bioanalytical and pharmacologic support for pre-clinical, clinical, and collaborative research projects.  The CPAL utilizes liquid chromatographic-tandem mass spectrometric (LC-MS/MS) techniques for the qualitative or quantitative analysis of small molecule drugs in a variety of specimen sources, including blood, tissue, dried blood spots, and body fluids. The CPAL also offers specimen processing services for the extraction and isolation of plasma and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) from blood.

The CPAL is CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited and adhered to Good Clinical Laboratory Practices.
