Overview of Services

  

 

The Johns Hopkins University Oncology Tissue and Imaging Service (OTIS) Core Laboratory offers a wide variety of services including:

           Histology

  • Customer service hours 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday through Friday
  • OTS-HistologyCore <OTS-HistologyCore@jh.edu> email your histology questions.
  • Fill in the form, submit the form and bring the samples to the lab. The OTS Histology Lab will accept the project in iLabs only after the specimens and paperwork have been received.

         Customized Immunohistochemisty

       Slide Scanning 

  • Brightfield
  • Fluorescence slide scanning trial phase for "2 X 3" slides
  • Free image analysis tools 

         TMA Design and Construction

Customer Service    Locations
  • Customer Service  and Sample Submission hours: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (Weekdays) 
  • Lab Consultations by appointment only.
  • Completed projects are placed in the bins outside the lab and can be picked up from 08:00am to 05:00pm (Weekdays)
  • All transactions requiring assistance from OTIS staff should be done 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Weekdays)
